TSPA are pleased to offer day long workshops in Primary Schools throughout North Somerset.

At TSPA we believe that through drama, young people learn to communicate more confidently, work as a team and perhaps have a chance to excel in a creative subject which in turn builds confidence for more academic studies.
Our Confidence + Communication workshop lasts one full day, with breaks and lunch at the schools usual times. The workshop accumulates to a short 10 minute performance to your invited audience (in the past this has been fellow classmates or family). During the morning we explore fun and focussed drama games to relax the group and encourage teamwork. We then move on to creating characters using imaginative props and begin to learn some improvisation skills. Next we devise and rehearse the short performance piece based on the Greek myth ‘Pandora’s Box’. During this we encourage everyone to take on a small role and also to work together as an ensemble. All you need to provide is a hall/studio and up to 25 children from school years 3-6. We will provide 2 workshop leaders, plus all props and resources. At the end of the day each child will receive a personalised printed certificate, as well as having a whole new drama skill set!
