Our jazz classes are broken down into grades depending on the students age and ability:
Preparatory jazz (age 4-7), Primary jazz (age 7-9) Grade 2 jazz (age 8-11), Grade 3 jazz (age 10-13), Grade 4 jazz (age 14+)
During this class students will work on jazz technique through corner work and centre exercises as well as learning choreography. We will work to develop flexibility, rhythm and coordination whilst building confidence and having lots of fun.
Our jazz classes follow the IDTA syllabus.
Students in these classes will have the opportunity to take exams, take part in competitions/ festivals and perform in shows.
For our dance classes students wear black dance tights, a black capped sleeve TSPA leotard and black jazz shoes. Hair is to be tied up and off the face. For your trial session leggings and a t-shirt can be worn with bare feet.
Each class is 45 minutes and costs £4.50, payable monthly.
